HI, I'M CHEWBACCA! YOU CAN CALL ME CHEWY...JUST CALL ME! Chewbacca and his companion, Baby Girl were surrendered to us 8/5/14, when Chewy was about 3 years old. They were both flea infested and scared. The owner reported being unable to properly care for them. Chewy is somewhat shy at first but warms up quickly. This handsome boy is starved for affection and attention and will likely open up and blossom more with each passing day. The previous owner reported that Chewy is house broken, crate trained and may suffer from separation anxiety. He reportedly lived in harmony with children, dogs and cats, but didn't accept the company of new animal friends. Chewy will sit and speak on command, and wait until you see him offer you both paws to shake! So cute! He tends to pull a little hard on leash but this is easily remedied with training and the proper harness. With patience, understanding and most of all, LOVE, Chewy will become an irreplaceable best friend. Are you the one who can show Chewy what the good life is all about? A fenced yard is recommended.
